Track the equipment

Know what's out, what's booked and what's left

Every install, service visit and pickup your crews complete updates the equipment on that job. Scheduling a job reserves what it needs, and the forecast shows whether you'll have enough 90 days out.

Every job’s equipment, kept by the work itself

  • Completing an install or service work order records what went on site. Completing a takedown records what came back.
  • Each job shows what’s reserved, deployed, retrieved, consumed, sold, lost or damaged, and the total still on site.
  • Every movement carries its own service date, and rental billing uses it. Correct a work order’s date and its inventory and draft invoices move with it.

Reservations for scheduled work

Scheduling a work order reserves the equipment it needs. Move the job back to draft or cancel it, and the reservation is released.

A 90-day availability forecast

The forecast projects your stock at 30, 60 and 90 days and flags items that will fall below their reorder point, so a shortfall shows up before a busy week does.

Reports on how hard your equipment works

The inventory availability report shows utilization and its trend, shrinkage from lost, damaged and consumed items, idle equipment, and sales and consumption. Filter it by warehouse.

Yards, trucks and transfers

Keep stock by location: warehouses, trucks and job sites. Record stock coming in, going out and moving between yards. When deployed equipment can’t be traced to a yard, the unassigned equipment review helps you settle it, with a history you can undo.

Individual units (beta)

Turn on Asset Management to track serialized units, such as containers, restroom trailers or light towers, each with a QR label, a location history and a record of every rental.

How it works for your trade

Temporary fence

Track panels, stands, clamps and screens by the piece or by the linear foot. Set how many feet each panel covers, and billing converts panels on site into linear feet. See temporary fence rental software.

Roll-off dumpsters

Track containers as counted items by size, or turn on Asset Management to follow each container individually. See dumpster rental software.

Portable restrooms

Set up standard units, ADA units and handwash stations as their own items, each with its own rates. See portable restroom software.

The same records drive rental billing: what’s on site is what gets billed.

Frequently asked questions

Does inventory update when crews deliver or pick up?

Yes, on the job. Completing an install or service work order records what went on site, and completing a takedown records what came back. Stock in each yard is kept with stock-in, stock-out and transfer entries.

Can I see whether I'll have enough equipment for upcoming jobs?

Yes. Scheduled work orders reserve what they need, and the inventory forecast projects stock at 30, 60 and 90 days, flagging items below their reorder point and shortfalls ahead.

Does it track lost and damaged equipment?

Yes. Lost and damaged equipment is recorded against the job and counted in the shrinkage report alongside consumed items.

Can I track individual serial-numbered units?

Yes, with Asset Management turned on (it's in beta). Each unit gets a QR label, a location history and a rental history.
